What Is Included in Pool Maintenance?
A standard pool maintenance contract covers the four core tasks that keep your water safe, clear, and equipment running correctly.
- Skim, Vacuum & Brush — Surface debris skimming, pool floor vacuuming, and wall brushing to prevent algae buildup. Carried out at every visit.
- Chemical Balancing — pH, alkalinity, chlorine, and stabiliser levels are tested and corrected at each service to keep water safe for swimming.
- Filter Backwash & Rinse — Sand or DE filters are backwashed to restore flow rate and filtration efficiency. Included in Comprehensive and Premium tiers.
- Equipment Checks — Pump, motor, timer, and valve inspection for early fault detection. Equipment health reports included in the Premium tier.
What Is Not Included
Electricity and water consumption, replacement parts (bulbs, O-rings, seals), major equipment repairs, resurfacing or replastering, and third-party chemical purchases are excluded from standard AMC contracts. These are quoted separately on request.
