What Affects Your Pool Build Cost?
These are the primary cost drivers our pool designers review during your free site inspection.
- Pool Size & Depth — Surface area is the single biggest driver. Depth adds excavation, shell volume, and MEP costs — a 1.8 m pool costs noticeably more than a 1.4 m pool.
- Construction Method — Concrete (gunite) allows any shape but takes longer to build. Fibreglass is faster but limited to standard shell shapes.
- Tiling & Finishes — Standard ceramic tile is included in Standard rates. Mosaic, glass tile, or natural stone add AED 150–500/m² to tiling alone.
- MEP & Filtration System — Variable-speed pump, multiport valve, and sand/DE/cartridge filter are included turnkey. Ozone or UV upgrades add cost.
- Site Conditions — Rock substrate, high water table, or difficult access can add AED 10,000–40,000 to excavation. A site inspection confirms this.
- Permits & NOC — Dubai Municipality, DDA, or community-level approval is required. NOC and permit fees typically range AED 2,000–20,000 depending on authority.
