What we make and who it is for
We build sofas to order for apartment and villa owners, landlords furnishing a unit, and clients whose room does not take a catalogue size. Typical jobs are L-shape and U-shape sectionals for large living rooms, corner sofas cut to an awkward wall, modular seating that can be rearranged, and low majlis seating. We are a maker, not a retailer, so each piece is made to your brief and your room.
Sizing for your room
- Living rooms vary a great deal. Apartments from JVC to Downtown to Dubai Marina have very different layouts, and a sectional that fits one rarely fits another.
- We build to your dimensions. You know before production that the sofa will sit as planned.
- Corner and L-shape sofas are cut to the actual angle and run of your walls, not a standard right angle that may not match your corner.
Fabric and leather
- Woven, textured, boucle and velvet fabrics. A wide choice of weights and textures. We advise on durability and cleaning for Dubai conditions, including dust, air conditioning and heavy use.
- Performance fabrics. Stain-resistant weaves worth considering for families with children.
- Full-grain and top-grain leather. A premium option that ages well and wipes clean.
- Faux leather or PU. A lower-cost, easy-care choice for high-use homes.
- Custom colours. Dye matching is possible for specific colour briefs, subject to fabric availability.
Foam, fill and frame
The difference between a sofa you love and one you tolerate is often the foam and the frame.
- High-density HR foam is firm, durable and keeps its shape. It is our standard for main seating.
- A memory foam layer on top adds give without the sogginess of low-density foam.
- Feather and fibre wrap gives a soft, sink-in outer layer over a foam core.
- Seat depth and height are adjusted to your household: deeper for lounging, shallower for upright sitting.
- Kiln-dried hardwood frames with mortise-and-tenon or corner-block joinery resist racking and do not warp in air-conditioned rooms, unlike stapled joints.
Dubai considerations
Air conditioning dries timber and foam, so frame quality and kiln-dried wood matter more than they do in milder climates. Dust settles on fabric quickly, so a tight weave or a performance fabric is easier to live with. Sun through large windows fades fabric and dries leather, so we talk about where the sofa will sit and suggest protection or a fade-resistant fabric if it faces glass.
Delivery is the practical point. Apartment lifts, narrow corridors and stairwells limit what can be carried, so we plan a large sectional in sections and check access at the measure.

How the job runs
- Consultation and measure. We visit, measure the room and walls, and talk through style, fabric, foam and how you use the sofa.
- Design and quote. You receive the configuration and specification, and a quote after the consultation and measure.
- Fabric and frame. Once you approve, the frame is built and the fabric or leather is cut.
- Upholstery. Foam and fill are fitted, then the covers are sewn and fitted.
- Delivery and placement. The sofa is delivered, positioned and checked against the plan.
- Aftercare. We explain how to care for the fabric or leather you chose.
Lead time depends on size, fabric availability and complexity, and we confirm a realistic timeline at the quote stage.
What drives the cost
- Size and seat count. A two-seat sofa takes less than a three-seat one, and a large sectional takes considerably more.
- Fabric choice. Premium fabrics, leather and made-to-order colours carry a premium.
- Foam specification. HR foam with a memory layer costs more than standard foam.
- Frame complexity. Curved arms, custom legs and tufted backs add craft time.
- Cushion configuration. Loose back cushions, tight backs and feather-wrapped seats each take different amounts of work.
