Fitted Wardrobe & Walk-In Wardrobe Design in Dubai

The Property Masters designs and builds bespoke wardrobes across Dubai — hinged, sliding and full walk-in dressing rooms — made to measure for your room. We plan the internal organisation that actually fits your wardrobe, quality panel finishes and soft-close hardware, integrated lighting and mirrors, and moisture-resistant construction built for Dubai's humidity. A fitted wardrobe uses every centimetre a freestanding one wastes, and looks built-in rather than bought. Each wardrobe is priced per project, with an indicative quote after a free site visit, subject to +5% VAT.

Fitted beats freestanding

A freestanding wardrobe wastes the gaps around it and rarely suits the room; a fitted wardrobe is built to your exact space, floor to ceiling, wall to wall, so there's no dead space above or beside it and no wasted internal volume. It also looks built-in rather than bought, reading as part of the room. For most Dubai bedrooms — where storage is at a premium and ceiling height is often generous — a made-to-measure fitted wardrobe is the single best storage decision, which is why we design every one around the specific room.

Hinged, sliding or walk-in

The right type depends on your space and how you use it:

  • Hinged-door wardrobes — the classic fitted wardrobe; doors open fully so you see and reach everything at once, and they suit rooms with space to swing a door.
  • Sliding-door wardrobes — doors slide rather than swing, saving floor space in front of the wardrobe; ideal for tighter bedrooms and a sleek, flush look, often with mirrored or panelled doors.
  • Walk-in wardrobes / dressing rooms — an open, room-sized layout with hanging, drawers and display on show; the luxury option where a villa master or a spare room allows it.

We advise on which suits your room rather than pushing one type, and size each to fit.

Internal organisation that actually fits your life

The inside is where a wardrobe is won or lost. We design the internal layout around what you own — the right balance of double and full-height hanging, drawers, adjustable shelving, dedicated shoe storage, and pull-outs and organisers for accessories. Hanging is set at proper heights, drawers run on soft-close runners, and the layout is planned so everything has a place. A wardrobe that looks good but is badly organised inside fails daily; getting the interior right is the whole point of going bespoke.

Finishes and hardware that last

The finish sets the look and the longevity. We work with quality engineered panels — the AGT and EGGER tier widely specified in Dubai — in a range of looks: wood veneer, painted and lacquered fronts, textured laminates, matte and high-gloss, and mirrored or glass doors. Hardware matters as much as the panel: soft-close hinges and runners from the recognised tier (Blum and equivalents) stop doors and drawers slamming and keep the wardrobe feeling solid for years rather than rattling loose.

Built for Dubai's humidity

Dubai's humidity is hard on storage, and a wardrobe built without it in mind suffers — boards swell, edges lift and clothes pick up damp and musty smells. We specify moisture-resistant board and properly edge-sealed panels so the structure stands up to humidity, design in ventilation so air moves rather than sits, and keep wardrobes off cold external walls where condensation forms. It's the difference between a wardrobe that lasts and one that warps within a couple of years in a Dubai apartment.

Lighting and mirrors

The finishing touches make a wardrobe a pleasure to use. We integrate LED lighting — strip lighting in hanging and shelf zones, and sensor lights that come on as the door opens — so you can actually see what you own. Integrated mirrors, whether mirrored doors or a dedicated dressing mirror, complete a walk-in or dressing zone and bounce light around the room. Both are wired and built in cleanly rather than added on afterwards.

Priced per project

Wardrobes are made to measure, so there's no flat rate — a single sliding wardrobe and a full walk-in dressing room are very different builds. After a free site visit we give an indicative quote covering design, panels, hardware, internals and installation, subject to +5% VAT. Wardrobes are often designed alongside a master bedroom or kids' room, sit within our full interior design service, and can be delivered within a complete fit-out. Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between hinged, sliding and walk-in wardrobes?

Hinged-door wardrobes open fully so you see and reach everything at once, and suit rooms with space to swing a door. Sliding-door wardrobes save the floor space in front of them and give a sleek flush look, ideal for tighter bedrooms and often fitted with mirrored doors. Walk-in wardrobes are an open, room-sized dressing space with hanging and storage on show — the luxury option where a villa master or spare room allows. We advise on which suits your room.

Why choose a fitted wardrobe over a freestanding one?

A freestanding wardrobe wastes the gaps around it and rarely suits the room. A fitted wardrobe is built to your exact space — floor to ceiling, wall to wall — so there's no dead space and no wasted internal volume, and it looks built-in rather than bought. In Dubai bedrooms, where storage is at a premium and ceilings are often generous, a made-to-measure fitted wardrobe is usually the single best storage decision you can make.

How do you stop a wardrobe being damaged by Dubai's humidity?

We specify moisture-resistant board and properly edge-sealed panels so the structure stands up to humidity, design in ventilation so air moves rather than sits, and keep wardrobes off cold external walls where condensation forms. Without this, boards swell, edges lift and clothes pick up a musty smell — a common failure in Dubai apartments. Building for humidity from the start is what makes a wardrobe last rather than warp within a couple of years.

Can you design the inside of the wardrobe around what I own?

Yes — that's the whole point of going bespoke. We design the internal layout around your belongings, with the right balance of double and full-height hanging, drawers, adjustable shelving, dedicated shoe storage and organisers for accessories. Hanging is set at proper heights and drawers run on soft-close runners. A wardrobe that looks good but is badly organised inside fails daily, so we get the interior right first.

How much does a fitted wardrobe cost in Dubai?

It's priced per project, because every wardrobe is made to measure — a single sliding wardrobe and a full walk-in dressing room are very different builds, and the panels and hardware you choose affect the cost. After a free site visit we give an indicative quote covering design, panels, hardware, internals and installation, subject to +5% VAT.
